BOOMERANG PARENTAL CONTROL’S NEW FEATURES TO MAKE CONNECTING AS A FAMILY PRIORITY
April 11th, 2017
(Vancouver, Canada) – On Tuesday, April 11th, Boomerang will release the latest update for their Android and iOS apps. The update will include a family-chat function, full parental-management capabilities for kids’ Android and Apple iOS devices, and a much-requested feature that allows parents to toggle the protection on their child’s device on or off.
The app enables parents to enforce family time by controlling the content available on their child’s device, or ‘bricking’ it altogether. This allows for dinner-time, homework-time and/or bed-time to be device-free, thus encouraging meaningful family connection, better sleep habits, and completed homework.
Boomerang’s COO and product evangelist, Justin Payeur says that the Boomerang team is looking forward to enabling more comprehensive family communication via the ‘family messenger’ feature, and is excited about the improvements to the remote-control options for parents. He added that “[We] really want families to spend time together, talking and building respect and trust; that’s hard to do if everyone is staring at their phones all the time”.
National Education Technologies is passionate about becoming the leader in family safety apps with a focus on minimizing technology addiction, encouraging safe content for children and educating parents. Boomerang and SPIN safe browser are developed with these issues in mind, and help parents parent without worrying about what’s going on with their kids’ devices.
