Vik Khanna

Vik_KhannaMy start in EdTech goes back to co-founding Faronics in 1996 and selling hardware to local school districts. A pivot arrived in July 1999 when I was introduced to Deep Freeze; I immediately asked for the rights to sell this product as it was love at first sight. This was likely one of the smartest things that I have ever done as I ended up having an incredibly successful 18-years with Faronics and established my love for EdTech having personally sold, supported and marketed to thousands and thousands of educational organizations over the years.

I strongly believe in leading with credibility; I don’t ask of others what I do not believe in or am not prepared to do myself. I believe this is a required trait for every leader, teacher, and mentor. Building goodwill and making every relationship a win-win is also something that I firmly believe in and I am very pleased continue this with National Education Technologies.

As a testament of my many accomplishments, I was awarded the prestigious 2008 ‘Top 40 Under 40’ award by Business in Vancouver magazine and I was also selected to participate in the Richard Ivey School of Business’ Quantum Shift Program which provides continual learning with Canada’s top entrepreneurs as classmates.
